• Role Description

• Open and manage import files (ocean FCL/LCL and air) from pre-alert through final delivery
\n
• Review and validate shipping documents: house and master bills of lading, air waybills, commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin
\n
• Track vessels and flights and keep customers updated on ETAs, delays and exceptions
\n
• Issue arrival notices and coordinate cargo release with carriers, CFS and terminals
\n
• Coordinate customs clearance with brokers, including ISF filings, entry documents and any CBP, FDA or USDA holds and exams
\n
• Book and schedule drayage, trucking and warehouse deliveries; manage free time to avoid demurrage, detention and per diem
\n
• Monitor tariff exposure on incoming cargo (Section 232, Section 301, AD/CVD) and flag it to customers and sales before arrival
\n
• Prepare and audit file costing and customer billing; resolve vendor invoice discrepancies
\n
• Keep files complete and up to date in our operating system for audit and compliance
\n
• Communicate with overseas agents and partners to resolve documentation or operational issues
